Funeral Celebrants
Funeral Flowers
There are no hard and fast rules concerning type or quantity of funeral flowers. In fact, some families choose to have no floral tributes whatsoever, instead inviting mourners / guests to make donations to a nominated charity instead. Funeral Directors will usually make a Donations box available immediately after the sevrvice for those who wish it.
If you are having floral arrangements made up for the coffin, hearse and ceremony, most Funeral Directors request that you have them delivered to their office or Chapel of Rest on the morning of the service, but please check with them when you discuss your requirements.

At a recent service for a lady who was a particularly keen gardener, and who was always giving away cuttings from her fabulous plants, her family chose to place a selection of potted cuttings on her coffin instead of flowers, which guests then took with them, as a memento of her and her life.
A lovely idea, we thought!
