Your Choices

The idea of having choices where the style and content of funerals is concerned is a relatively new one. For those of us who are fortunate enough not to have attended a service for many years, what we tend to expect is a formal, sombre service with 'rules' about what music or hymns may be considered, what may be said and who can say it.

Times have changed and fortunately these days, you are free to have any style and format of service that suits you and your loved-ones, including the latest alternative, Direct Cremation.

We began working as Celebrants with a view to offering something more personal, more celebratory and less rigid in format. So the question is, how would you LIKE your service to be conducted?

Take a look at some of the choices explored and explained in our Choices menu - we hope they give you some idea of what is possible.

The important thing to remember is that there really are no rules as to what is the right or wrong thing to do at a funeral - whether you would like a gentle, simple service with classical music and poetry, a varied and lively presentation with lots of music and images, or a series of personal dedications from family and friends, the choice is entirely yours.

And with help from your Funeral Director and Arranger, we are here to try and help you achieve it.
